[1] Take a new file of 400 pixels by 400 pixels and resolution 72 dpi. Use the RGB Color mode.
[2] Fill the Background Layer with color Black.
[3] Now take the Rectangular Marquee Tool

a wide short selection.
[4] Now create a new layer.
[5] And take the Gradient Tool
apply the following settings.
[6] Now fill the selection with the
help of gradient tool then
deselect.
[7] You can make the 2 more copy of the Layer 1 then press Cntl+E,
to Merge down the layer do not merge the background layer.
[8] And now take the Burn Tool use
these settings.
[9] The Burn Tool is used to darken
area as shown image below.
[10] Now create a new layer and
Change the Blending Mode Overlay.
[11] Now take the Bursh Tool use
these settings and set the
Foreground
and Background color would you like.
[12] Your final image should be look like this.
